SESSION 4 HIGHLIGHT
The second critical control process for consistently meeting the feed formula specifications is the mixing operations. This session highlights the importance of achieving a homogeneous mixture within a specified time while allowing for the sequential addition of raw materials, micro ingredients and liquids. The various types of mixers and their influence on cross contamination and carryover is explained.

Throughout his career, Yiannis has had the opportunity to work in various Asian countries and in roles such as, technical support, sale representative, general manager and regional director for international companies operating within the animal health and animal nutrition industry. Yiannis graduated from Scottish Agricultural College in Poultry production and management, from Wye Collage-University of London with a BSc in Animal Agriculture and currently is about to receive his MA in Leading Innovation and Changes in Organization from York St John University in UK
ONLINE MILLING SCHOOL HIGHLIGHTS
Various topics have been selected to focus on specific but important aspects of Feed Mill Operation and Management. Each Session will provide an excellent learning platform or refresher training for those involved in feed production of livestock and aquaculture feeds at their place of work.
At the end of each session, delegates will have the opportunity to interact with the facilitators/speakers in a live Q&A session. And documents will be available as Handouts. Attendee’s knowledge will be assessed via a series of Polls offered at the end of each presentation.
All attendees will have the opportunity to complete all 12 Sessions that comprise the Livestock Feed Manufacture Course and attain a Certificate of Attendance.
